Nickel plated Material is Solid Brass 5mm diameter stem. 10mm wide domed top 6.4mm long shaft. They are commonly used for attaching buckles to leather belts. Punch a 6mm hole to allow for positioning. For thicker leather skive down one side so the 2 pieces of leather together are approximately 6 mm thick.
